Assignment One

I Should Have Never Bought.....

Last year around Christmas time I pay £150 for a Sony Ericsson w910i, at the time this was one of the best phones money could buy but once I had it about a month I soon found that this was no the case. At first the phone would work perfectly, letting me make calls, send text messages & listen to music but then a right light above the camera would illuminate and the screen would turn black and the phone would vibrate when the screen would return the phone would reset the wallpaper and theme to default but also reducing my battery but 20% each time it did this, and this was happening at least 3 times day most days.

As well as this problem the phone would also not let me listen to music using the walkman, one of this phones key features, I’d click on the walkman player and the phone would appear with an error message and then redirect me to the main screen.

Six months or so past and my phone was literally falling apart, the screws at the back of the phone fell out and the plastic cover on the front started to lose key pieces of material that held the front cover in place, it soon got to the stage where I was using a rubber band to keep the phone from falling apart.

The ironic thing is thought that now I have a phone that cost me £25 it has all the features my old phone had but works better than my old phone ever had. I wish I had never bought this phone

  1. A good article Peter. You need make sure that you are careful with your punctuation and grammar. The article goes into a lot of detail about the product but haven’t quiet grasped the purpose of the activity. You should have been looking at the form vs function of the product and not gone into the specific problems of the product.
